Ingredients

margarine or butter
- 250 g (1 pkg)
(about 40) regular marshmallows or 4 cups miniature
- ½ tsp
vanilla extract (optional)

Directions
1. In a large microwave safe bowl, heat margarine/ butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring halfway until melted and smooth.
2. Add the Rice KrispiesⓇ cereal and stir until well coated. Using a lightly buttered spatula, press into a buttered 3.5 L (13 x 9") pan. Press down firmly to pack the mixture into the pan and once cool, cut into rectangular bars.
3. Use icing to secure pieces of licorice along the short edges of the bars to resemble the red edges of the flag.
4. Using either a piping bag with a fine tip or a leaf shaped stencil, form the Maple leaf in the center of the flag using red icing.
